I am pleased to announce a collaboration with the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s & Dementia Society (GADS), with a talk discussing the current research in relation to the potential for personalised nutrition to prevent the onset of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s disease.

The event will be held at the Charles Hunt Room, John McIntosh Hall, on Thursday 13th February between 6pm – 715pm. The registration fee is only £20 with 50% of the proceeds going to support the invaluable work by GADS volunteers to support the wellbeing of Dementia patients. Register by emailing info@gads.gi. The talk is very relevant for any middle-aged adults experiencing any signs of cognitive impairment, has a family history of Alzheimer’s disease or other form of dementia, or has been experiencing a wide range of symptoms and risk factors, such as:-

– Memory loss that disrupts daily life

– Confusion with either time or place

– New problems with speaking or writing

– Difficulty completing familiar tasks

– Tendency to misplace things

– Unable to recall recent events

– Unable to retrace your steps

– Stress, anxiety, brain fog

– Headaches or migraines

– insomnia or poor sleep hygiene
