Identifying your root causes

Diet and lifestyle have a profound impact on sleep quality and overall vitality, often in ways that go unnoticed until exhaustion becomes the norm, disrupting natural sleep rhythms and interfere with the body’s ability to fully restore overnight. Over time, this imbalance leaves people feeling unrefreshed on waking, reliant on stimulants to get through the day, mentally foggy, and disconnected from the steady energy and clarity that healthy sleep is meant to provide, which can lead to inflammation, brainfog, fatigue and frequent headaches and migraines.

Sleep and vitality

Why is this program for me?

For many, this pattern feels all too familiar. Struggling to fall asleep despite feeling exhausted, waking during the night with an overactive mind, relying on caffeine to function, and never quite feeling fully recharged even after a full night in bed are experiences that gradually become accepted as “normal.” It’s in these everyday signs, the afternoon energy crashes, reduced motivation, poor concentration, and feeling flat or irritable, that people often begin to recognise their own reality and realise their sleep and vitality may not be functioning as they should. If you identify with this and want to learn how to identify your root causes and work with me to drastically improve your sleep hygeine and vitality, get in touch with me.

Meet your practitioner

Andrew Fortuna studied Nutrition Science (BSc) Hons and Personalised Nutrition (MSc) based on a systems biology approach, a holistic and integrative method used to understand complex biological systems by analysing their interconnected components, rather than studying individual parts in isolation. It involved a deep emphasis on nutritional biochemistry, and the influence of nutrients and food components on cellular and molecular pathways involved in the pathophysiology of a wide range of chronic diseases using evidence-based pathophysiological reasoning. Clinical training, required to meet UK National Occupational Standards, involved being able to apply all this knowledge to four supervised clients experiencing a wide range of chronic health conditions to help ameliorate or prevent disease based on the Functional Medicine Model.
