I have a lot of experience leading tours to Spain and Morocco. Lunch and Learns can be combined with a wellness retreat, embracing the outdoors and reconnecting with nature with a metabolic or digital detox. Wellness retreats embrace being outdoors and reconnecting with nature and can be combined with a digital detox. You can find retreats with wildlife walks, eco retreats, mountain escapes and wilderness holidays. Overview
Andrew Fortuna studied Nutrition Science (BSc) Hons and Personalised Nutrition (MSc) based on a systems biology approach, a holistic and integrative method used to understand complex biological systems by analysing their interconnected components, rather than studying individual parts in isolation. It involved a deep emphasis on nutritional biochemistry, and the influence of nutrients and food components on cellular and molecular pathways involved in the pathophysiology of a wide range of chronic diseases using evidence-based pathophysiological reasoning. Clinical training involved being able to apply all this knowledge to four supervised clients experiencing a wide range of chronic health conditions to help ameliorate or prevent disease based on the Functional Medicine Model. He is also a certified Dietary Educator.
